After graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Southampton University in 1990, Neil joined Arup, a global firm of consultant engineers, planners and project managers where he worked in their Industrial Engineering group designing major industrial facilities in the UK, Turkey, Germany and Hungary. In 1996 Neil qualified as a Chartered Building Services Engineer, and moved with his wife to Moscow to head Arup’s operations in Russia. Whilst in Moscow, he was responsible for a multi-disciplinary design office delivering multi-million dollar projects for local and international Clients. In 1998, Neil was awarded the UK’s Young Consulting Engineer Award along with an invitation to Buckingham Palace for Young Achievers across all fields of UK life.
Neil moved to Barcelona in 1999 to complete an executive MBA at the University of Chicago where he graduated in 2000 with High Honours. He returned to Arup in London where he was project director for a new £130m scientific facility for Pfizer in Kent. To put his MBA to good use, Neil moved to a small start-up company called BuildOnline, designing and delivering project collaboration systems for the property and construction market across Europe. In 1994, he then moved into property development, and built up a small portfolio of property in Croatia, and in 1996 he joined James Agace developing projects in and around central London.
Neil brings to his property development a real understanding on how a development is delivered. Many of the developments undertaken have involved complex below ground construction works producing valuable living spaces. With his technical expertise proving highly beneficial as he looks to innovate and deliver buildings that meet today’s modern lifestyles.
